Slatted Bedsteads

The invention of the slatted bedstead dates from the Fifties. In order to relieve the pains of his wife, who was suffering from backache following an accident, a certain Mr DEGEN, of Swiss nationality, had the idea of placing flexible wooden slats on rubber supports.

The Lattoflex bedstead was born and this event was to revolutionise the world of bedding. Today, the slatted bedstead has made way for more sophisticated materials. The wood has been replaced by fibreglass and the rubber of the original ball socket by composite materials. Come quickly to discover them in the store.
